General Organic Chemistry II--CHEM 3312
This course is required for Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, and Dietetics majors, and will also be taken by students preparing for medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and related health professions. These students will also take the associated laboratory, CHEM 3302. Prerequisite:
CHEM 3311 Course Description: Continuation of CHEM 3311; emphasis on more
important functional derivatives of aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons
and natural products important in biochemistry. Textbook and other materials:

Grades: A standardized final examination, comprehensive over both 3311 and 3312, will be administered in class at the assigned time. At least one test will be administered in class and graded before the last day to drop. Other tests, quizzes, and graded assignments, weighting, and grade ranges are at the discretion of the instructor, and will be detailed on a syllabus distributed on the first day of classes.
