UM Chemistry/WCC Eli Lilly Travel Award - Ruddick

Kristie Ruddick, chemistry graduate student in the Webster Group, has been awarded the American Chemical Society Women Chemists Committee Travel Award sponsored by Eli Lilly & Company. This grant will support Kristie's travel to 237th ACS National Meeting in Salt Lake City, UT March 22-26, 2009 to present her research on photochromic organometallic complexes. Kristie will also attend the Travel Award Dinner and Women Chemists Committee luncheon and poster session.

Eli Lilly and Company and the American Chemical Society (ACS) Women Chemists Committee (WCC) sponsor this travel award program to provide funding for undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral women chemists to travel to ACS meetings to present the results of their research. Through this program, Eli Lilly and Company and WCC continue to increase the participation of women in the chemical sciences.
