UM Chemistry/Endyne, Inc donates AA lamps to department |

| In Oct 2008, Dr. Petersen in our department was contacted by a representative of Endyne, Inc,
which is a full-service environmental testing laboratory headquartered in Williston, Vermont with locations in Williston, VT, Randolph, VT, and Plattsburgh, NY. Endyne, Inc was looking to donate to a "good cause" usable lamps for a Varian atomic
absorption (AA) spectrometer. The company's representative contacted Dr. Petersen based on their search of web sites looking for listings of
compatible instruments at various institutions. Endyne, Inc offered to donate the 19 usable lamps for our
Varian AA spectrometer, and we have accepted their gracious offer! Please join us in thanking the people at Endyne, Inc for their gift. |
